The Groundwater investigation project for the Gemsbok National Park Northern Boundary was carried out for the Department of Wildlife and National Parks under the supervision of the Department of Water Affairs. The project's aim was to locate and/ or identify adequate portable groundwater resources to supply a proposed Wildlife Camp along the Northern Boundry.
