Annual Monitoring Report of the Jwaneng Northern Wellfield, 2004- By Shawn Ntlhaile, Amended Dember 2005

The results of ground water monitoring presented in this report show that abstraction of water during 2004 amounted to 10,467,846 cubic metres compared to 12,412,519 cubic metres in 2003. This represents a decrease of 1,935,673 cubic metres or 16 %. The revised permissible water right allows the Mine to abstract water from Jwaneng Northern Wellfield not exceeding 15 million cubic meters per annum.
