Abstraction for the period July to December totaled 2481386m3 with a progressive figure of 38863989m3 since December 1979 when pumping commenced. The average monthly consumption for the reviewed period was 413564m3, an increase of 9% over the previous monitoring period, primarily as a result of a changeover of slimes dams and modifications to the return water system in preparation for the recrush project. Water consumed by the Township during the period amounted to 407,400m3.
