BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Map sheet 2122A is delimited by latitudes 21ยฐS and 21.5ยฐS , and longitudes 22ยฐE and 22.5ยฐE. The area is very sparsely populated and the only named village is Kuke, along the Ghanzi to Maun highway. The geophysical data within the sheet consists primarily of one regional airborne magnetic dataset interpolated to a 50 m grid. Regional gravity data interpolated to a 2.5 k m grid covering only the northwestern corner of the map sheet w as also used. Three time-domain
electromagnetic surveys additionally provided coverage over most of the map sheet
GEOLOGY
The current map sheet comprises highly deformed Ghanzi Group metasedimentary rocks, which unconformably overlie deformed Kgwebe Formation strata. Okavango swarm dolerite dykes are also present and intrude older bedrock units.
